Maxar introduces facial recognition into AFIX Tracker

Maxar has announced today the release of AFIX Tracker FR, a complete turn-key system that provides fingerprint, palm print, and facial identification in a single multi-modal system, that allows users to leverage the power of friction-ridge and facial matching in integrated searches on a single platform.

AFIX Tracker FR includes hardware, software, support, and onsite training in both system operation and facial identification techniques. ROC’s algorithms – specifically designed to handle unconstrained face detection – have been deemed the most accurate algorithms from U.S. companies participating in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Face Recognition Vendor Tests (FRVT) Ongoing by demonstrated the fastest enrollment speeds and True Identification Rate (TIR) of any Western face recognition algorithms. ROC’s algorithms also yield one of the industry’s lowest failure-to-enroll rates.
